CENTCOM: U.S. Clears Iranian Mines from Hormuz Lanes; Iran Oil Exports at Zero. Trump Says Tehran ‘Begging to Make a Deal’

The TSS is clear. Iranian oil has sat at zero since mid-July. Cooper called it a milestone. Trump called it begging.

Summary

  • Breitbart reports CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper said Thursday that U.S. forces have cleared IRGC sea mines from the Strait of Hormuz Traffic Separation Scheme, the internationally recognized shipping lanes.
  • Cooper said the routes are free of Iranian mines and called the result a major milestone after months of Iranian leverage through mines, attacks, and threats.
  • A U.S. naval blockade has held Iranian oil exports at zero since mid-July. A U.S. official told Axios earlier in the week the Iranians have lost control of the strait and the United States now holds it.
  • President Trump said the waterway is open, warned that any vessel caught re-mining it will be destroyed, and said Tehran is begging to make a deal.

Commentary

A Port Arthur oiler still walks a wet dock at 4 a.m. and tastes diesel on a cracked lip. He already lived the insurance spike. He does not need a seminar to know a mine in a lane is a tax on his kid's bus pass.

That is the gap. A cleared TSS. Oil at zero since mid-July. A warning about the next mine. The honest dad already paid the escort. Tehran still wants the strait back as a weapon.

Look every working father who still fills a tank in the eye and answer this: if the United States now holds the lane, who still gets to lay the next mine and call it diplomacy?

Zero exports since mid-July is the number. Keep it at zero until the white flag is real.

I swept a lane. Cooper's milestone is a hull that did not hit steel. Believe the sweep, then keep sweeping.

Re-mine and the vessel is destroyed. That sentence is the rule. Print it on the chart.

Japan lives on that TSS clock. A U.S.-held strait is an allied grocery run.

Watch who cheered mines as leverage last spring. Thursday's update is the rebuttal.

My diesel is the mine's cousin. A clear lane is the first honest paycheck in months.

A Gulf pump should not fund an IRGC mine. Keep the blockade until the deal is signed.

Pair the sweep with the Banque Misr weld. Oil and dollars are the same campaign.

Breitbart printed Cooper, TSS, mid-July zero, and Trump's begging line. Argue those nouns.

Keep the sweep. Keep the zero. A strait is not a bargaining chip.
