A Lake Placid dad still wrings a soaked towel and watches a creek line the way a mother watches a stove. He did not vote for a yard sign to become a skip list after a hurricane.
That is the gap. Water in the house. A Trump sign in the yard. A crew that turned away. The honest taxpayer already paid the diesel for the truck. The supervisor called it safety. The file called it bias.
Look every working father who still puts a candidate on a stake in the eye and answer this: if a yard sign can beat a flood claim, what part of disaster relief was ever neutral?
