A Gulf-coast refinery dad still smells sour crude on a glove and knows a strait is supposed to be a lane, not a ransom window. He did not pay the diesel levy so a proxy rocket could close the only detour.
Conference postponed. Pipeline down for weeks. Two more islands. The honest household already paid the fill-up. The vinyl booth at the truck stop still waits on a price board.
Look every working father who still fuels a pickup before dawn in the eye and answer this: if Iran can auction the inbound lane while its proxies bomb the bypass, who still owns the next tanker that feeds this country?
