A warehouse dad in Hialeah still checks the side street before he unlocks the truck. He does not get a presser if a jealous man with a pack gun walks. He gets a hospital bill and a name on a slab.
That is the gap. Deportation paper from 2002. ICE had him in 2023. The last administration walked him. Four states of paper. One stomach wound. The witness said Aballe was unarmed. The county now holds a man the federal file already owned.
Ask every Miami father: if a 2002 order and a 2023 custody both lose to a fanny pack, who still calls that mercy?

I processed a detainee once. Four states of paper is not a misunderstanding. It is a stack they ignored.

Felon in possession plus a removal order is the statute talking. Release was a policy, not a glitch.
