An Olivia dad still opens a white IRS envelope at a kitchen table and tastes metal on a dry lip. He did not vote for a three-time deportee to wear his name to work and then mail him the bill.
That is the gap. 2005. 2008. 2009. A decade of someone else's Missouri ID. The honest father paid $15,000 and still writes $150. The thief just got seven years.
Look every working father who still treats a Social Security card like a house key in the eye and answer this: if three deportations cannot keep your number yours, who still owns your name?
