Iran Bombs Its Neighbors Again, Claims U.S. Pilots Killed

Two Filipino sailors dead on Sidr. Tehran claimed American pilots. CENTCOM hit the radars.

Summary

  • Breitbart reports CENTCOM said U.S. strikes on IRGC targets began about 12 p.m. Eastern Tuesday after attempted IRGC attacks on Hormuz shipping and on American service members. Targets included air defense, radar, maritime assets, mine-laying gear, and communications.
  • Saudi shipper Bahri said Wednesday that two Filipino crew died in Monday night's attack on the supertanker Sidr, loaded with about two million barrels of Saudi crude.
  • The IRGC claimed a missile-and-drone hit on U.S. sites in Erbil and heavy strikes on drone hangars at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan that killed pilots and maintenance crew. Iranian state media said four IRGC, three Basij, and four or five civilians at a wedding in Sirik were killed and called the U.S. strike a war crime.
  • CENTCOM spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins said the command was looking into the wedding reports that originated in Iranian state media and that the U.S. military never targets civilians, unlike the IRGC.

Commentary

A Houston refinery hand still smells sour crude and wants two million barrels to arrive without a Filipino body on the deck. He did not pull a night turn so a mine layer could own the insurance rate.

Sidr. Two dead. Two million barrels. Noon Eastern on the radars. The honest dad already paid the gallon. The claim about pilots is the next leaflet.

Ask every working father who still fills a truck before dawn: if a tanker crew can die on a Monday night, who still wants the next mine left in the water?

Two million barrels. Two crew dead. That is a war on a civilian hull.

I fueled a jet in Jordan heat. A claim of dead pilots is a leaflet until Hawkins says otherwise.

Noon Eastern Tuesday. Bahri Wednesday. Sidr. Prince Hassan claim. Hawkins: looking into it. Publish the five.

Allied flags still treat a tanker kill as piracy with missiles. Answer it in kind.

Erbil claim. Sirik wedding claim. Four IRGC, three Basij. File state TV next to CENTCOM.

I still smell sour crude on a sleeve. I want the mine gear in the scrap, not in the lane.

A sailor's mother in Manila paid this week. Keep hitting the launchers.

Neighbors get the splash. America gets the leaflet. Hold the strait anyway.

Breitbart printed Sidr, two Filipinos, noon Eastern, and Hawkins. Argue those nouns.

Hit the radars. Clear the mines. A leaflet is not a body count.
