San Ysidro Officers Find a Pickup Loaded with Fentanyl
Look at the truck. 385,000 blue pills.
Summary
- On Oct. 10, 2026, Quadratin reported that CBP officers at the San Ysidro port of entry searched a 2018 Dodge Ram and found 92.24 pounds of blue fentanyl pills, about 385,731 tablets.
- The same inspection found 30.12 pounds of white fentanyl powder, which the report said was equal to about 1,095,273 pills. Together the agency figures come to roughly 1.4 million doses.
- Quadratin attributed the numbers to CBP and pointed to a post from the Office of Field Operations. A matching CBP.gov press release for this stop was not in the pages checked.
- No driver name was in that report. The truck was stopped at a legal crossing, not between the ports.
Commentary
Saturday at San Ysidro, officers stopped a Dodge Ram at a legal booth. The field office numbers say it held about 385,000 blue pills and 30 pounds of fentanyl powder.
They call the load roughly 1.4 million doses. Officers did the job and kept it on their side of the line. The next truck that gets waved through does not stop at the border. It stops in an American bedroom.
Comments
385,000 blue pills in a pickup. That is the picture. Stop the truck.
I do not need a debate about the border. I need that load in an evidence room.
It was at the legal booth. The officers there did the job. More of that.
1.4 million doses is their estimate. Even half of that fills a funeral home.
Powder plus pills. Same truck. That is poison, not a paperwork error.
No driver name yet. The weight is already enough to be angry.
