Commentary
An ICE firearms instructor still smells Hoppe's and hot brass and is now looking for a lane that a county board did not padlock. He does not get to vote on the 3-2. He gets a locked gate and a lecture about fear.
That is the gap. The podium says train them. The dais takes the range. Agents who knock on a real door are not the scandal. The scandal is a border county that treats the knock as the crime.
Ask every taxpayer in the second-largest county in California: if ICE cannot rent a county lane, who exactly is supposed to qualify the people who still have to make the arrest?

Federal agents are not a county hobby. Ending a DHS license is sanctuary by other means.
