He called 911 and said a homicide just happened. ICE says Biden already released him.

Summary

  • Fox News reports ICE identified Flavio Alcantara Dias, 43, as a Brazilian illegal immigrant accused of strangling 33-year-old Brianna Connolly in her Framingham, Massachusetts, home.
  • DHS says he illegally entered in April 2019. In October 2024 an immigration judge granted his motion to terminate hearings on a technicality despite DUI and aggravated-assault history, and the Biden administration released him.
  • Middlesex County Assistant District Attorney Thomas Brandt told a courtroom Dias called 911 and said, quote, a homicide just happened here right now, according to Boston 25 News.
  • DHS urged the Framingham Police Department to honor a controlled transfer, noting 7 of the top 10 safest U.S. cities cooperate with ICE detainers.

Commentary

A millwright still tastes motor oil on a cracked lip and pays a locksmith who will not walk into a dark kitchen first. He did not fund a 2019 entry so a 2024 technicality could own a living room.

That is the gap. April 2019. October 2024. A 911 homicide call. The honest dad already paid the detainer. The technicality paid the release.

Look every working father in Framingham in the eye and answer this: if 7 of 10 safest cities already honor ICE, why is this transfer still a request?

If he called 911 to report his own homicide, why was the 2024 release still on the books?

Entered 2019. Technicality 2024. Strangled a 33-year-old in her own house. That is the pipeline.

I stood a post so a 911 call would not be a confession. Honor the detainer.

DUI. Aggravated assault. Terminated hearing. Then homicide. Publish the judge's order.

Allied cities already honor 7 of 10 safest-city detainers. Framingham can join the list.

Flavio Alcantara Dias. Brianna Connolly. Boston 25 quoted the 911 line. File it.

I still punch out smelling grease. I do not want a technicality living on my block.

A 33-year-old should not die in her own kitchen because a hearing ended on a technicality.

A released man is a second crossing. The first one should have been the last.

Fox printed 2019, 2024, 911, and 7 of 10 safest cities. Argue those nouns.

Transfer him. Close the hearing loophole. A living room is not a technicality.
