A Virginia dad still takes a kid up the Mall steps and knows a museum lawn is supposed to name the man who held the army together, not a 1967 abstract that needs a plaque to explain itself. He did not pay the levy so a Founding Father would lose a lawn to a steel loop.

Look every working father who still points a child at that lawn in the eye and answer this: if the 250th year is already here, who still owns the next statue a kid can name without a curator?
